Kev - I'm new to this, but my Sweetie and I have been going thru this with his X. We're in CA and it seems a losing battle. We used all our money paying the attorney and having a very poor legal outcome with very little visitation. We've been fighting for going on 3 years now to get balanced visitation, fair support payments (the State "impuned" an income on us - maybe they can impune a payment, too?) But one thing we did that was successful, we bartered some of the bill we still owe to the attorney. I don't know what your talents/skills are, but perhaps there's something you can do to offset some of that debt. I've heard that you can't be dropped by your attny. for non-payment - but you will be dropped out of your home. I'm trying to get an answer for all of this insanity and greed so people can have their one home, one roof over their heads - their own garden (have you seen grocery prices lately? And w/banks using our bail out money to invest in food futures and commodities for even more profit - we're going to end up paying exorbitdant.(sp) High prices for our food. Here's our little one, she's worth fighting for! My prayers are with you. Blessings!
I'm just wondering what the American People can do to improve their quality of life - get rid of the spirit crushing burden of debt (see here to find out how it all happened: http://www.portervillepost.com/pdf/The_Best_Way_To_Rob_A_Bank.pdf) Banks - who needs them?
I've heard an idea that if thousands people pulled together and contributed just $1, - less than our daily coffee - we could help thousands of Americans stay in their home...novel idea. Individually it may not do much, but if a lot of us did this - and then received the feedback as to how successful it was, I think it could transform lives...Anybody?
